Apex Urethane Millwork products are manufactured
in the United States of America (Pennsylvania).
All chemicals and paints used in the manufacturing
process of all products made by Apex Urethane
Millwork are engineered, designed, manufactured,
and continually tested and monitored for compliance
to environmental and health standards in the United
States.
All
Apex Urethane Millwork products are manufactured
with high-density, water-blown, rigid closed-cell
(prevents water penetration and absorption) polyurethane
foam and are completely free of HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons)
and CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons), which are both
known to be ozone-depleting chemical compounds.
The “ozone friendly” polyurethane
products manufactured by Apex Urethane Millwork,
using patented and proven technology, are inert
cellular foams with low permeability (therefore
emit no toxic gases into the air), and are made
of a high-density polymer comparable to kiln-dried
white pine millwork, with a manufactured skin
density higher than white pine and lighter in
weight.

Paint
Apex
Urethane Millwork’s new proprietary and
custom-formulated paint coating system utilizes
an integral cross linked chemistry fusing the
“base” paint coat application to the
cells of the urethane chemical itself as the product
is being “formed and cured.”
The
“second” coat application, applied
directly to the “finished” part after
it has cured, completes the elegant white finish
providing “maintenance-free” beauty
for many years of enjoyment from your investment.
Made
in the United States of America, this advanced,
“water based” and “V.O.C.”
compliant, “Macro Nano” technology
will resist harsh environmental conditions such
as direct sunlight, acid rain, and extreme temperature
variations.
No
other Urethane Millwork Manufacturer warrants
their paint coverage like Apex Urethane Millwork.
Apex
warrants, to the original consumer purchasing
our product, that the exterior white primer paint
finish provided on all of our products will be
free from UV ray degradation, blistering, and
paint peeling under normal use for a period of
ten (10) years from the date of the original purchase.

Adhesives
Some
adhesives may contain solvents or other compounds
that can degrade Apex’s rigid polyurethane
over a period of time. This degradation may not
be apparent for several months or even years.
Use only Apex adhesive during the installation
process. Apex accepts no responsibility for damages
caused by the use of adhesives other than the
Apex adhesive sold by us.
